ABOUT ME
Thanks for your interest in knowing about me! Well, as mentioned before, I am currently a student in MS in Bioinformatics program at the School of Biological Sciences in Georgia Tech.
My research interests lie at the nexus of computer science and biology. I am particularly interested in exploring the applications of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Biology. To that end, I aim to use NGS data which can be used to extract huge amounts of information and possibly, patterns.
Presently, I am working with Dr. Alberto Stolfi on NGS data analysis of tunicates' single cells. The lab seeks to answer how gene activity affects brain development and in turn, influences animal's behavior. Please visit the lab website for more details.
